KaraB was founded by Kara Buttimer and Summer '04 marks the official launch of the line. She had become so tired of carrying the same old boring black nylon laptop bag and could not find anything available that was both fashionable and affordable. So she decided she had to do something about it. After talking to her friends and colleagues, she learned that they felt the same way; everyone was frustrated by the lack of unique, fashionable, yet well constructed laptop bags. The only solution appeared to be to design and market them herself, and that's how KaraB began.

Just Right - My hubby bought the laptop bag for me as a gift. I love it and get lots of compliments on how nice it looks. I love the extra space pockets--they hold plenty of extras without making the bag look over stuffed.

Nice laptop bag, but...The shoulder straps are way too short to use this as a backpack. It would have been an easy modification by the manufacturer to make this work. I had to take it to a leather repair shop in order to change the strap connections and make this into a backpack.
