Mad Rock Alpinist
What’s with this tongue?Break in time was normal - good fit, stiff enough, yet comfortable on longer approaches, and snow shoeing. The only down fall is if you are hiking fast or doing anything with a lot of movement from any angle. The tongue works its way down about a 1/2". This is something that can get kind of tricky when your hands are busy elsewhere. Other than that, it is a warm multi use boot.

Mad Rock Flash
Good "next" shoe - A comfort beginner shoe if fit loose, a very high performance and affordable shoe if fit tight. I fit them with my street shoe size 9.5 and was painfully tight, you should know they will stretch and that is probably the fit you should have. The rubber is very sticky at the cost of durability. I am loving these right now and several people have reviewed at other sites that a resole job will bring them back to life with more durable rubber. Some have complained that the Velcro wears out, go to a local cobbler they will fix...been doing this on cycling shoes for years.

Mad Rock Flash
Mad Rock's Flash - PRICEWISE, these shoes are awesome. I went a size down from my street shoes. It was a very tight fit, however, after a week of climbing they fit perfect and I don't think it needs any improvement. It's not been about a month and they are holding very strong. I climb 5 days a week, and like any shoes they will always need to be resoled.

Mad Rock Hooker EZ
GREAT SHOE - I got these shoes a week ago and they're absolutely fantastic. I ordered a half size bigger than my street shoe and they grip like glue. Super comfy and great for heel hooks, no problems whatsoever

Mad Rock Mountain
Mad Rock Mountain Boots - I used these for the first time ice climbing in Ouray. I wore them for five days and I was very impressed. With the exception of a slight sore spot on my left heel on day three, they were comfortable. The sore spot went away by the 5th day, so I think it was more a break in issue. The temperature was about 22F and my feet never got cold. My G14s fit perfect without any fuss. Lacing was easy and worked well. Although the heel was not as locked in as with my Trango Ice Evos, it did work well. Overall for the price these are probably the best value ice climbing boos on the market. I highly recommend them.
