Mod 8 was born in France in 1936, in the Southwestern town of Bordeaux, by it's creator, Marcel Maudouit. His family worked to recruit the finest personnel in the industry and continued to build the business together. In 1962 a world class factory in Blanquefort, a little town on the edge of the wine country, was opened. Here the story continued………Today the Mod 8 designers and craftsmen, one being Stephane Maudouit, continue to bring imagination and comfort in the children’s shoe market. Elegant and yet sturdy - My daughter wears these shoes every day to school, since she is growing and it is not worth it to keep it in the closet. She loves it. And so do I!

Beautiful French crafted infant girl shoes - The shoe is stunning well made looks high end, soft leather, easy on and off, velcro that stays closed, durable rubber soles can dress it up or down. Beautiful details fits well, very easy to walk in, leaves no blisters on small feet. This shoe is made for a narrow foot. Purchased these for my goddaughter who has just turned 1 and starting walking, she is in love with them. Mod8 exceeded my expectations. Already have purchased the same shoe in another color for her.

Love this shoe!My daughter and I love this brown shoe that goes with so many of her clothes this fall. It is extremely comfortable and has a great fit. The styling is beautiful and the quality superb. I love the feel of the smooth leather, but think I will be able to keep these looking nice with shoe polish if I need to. These are our first Mod 8's, but am definitely looking to purchase more in the future!

Stylish - I just got this pair for my younger daughter in red color, it just looks pretty, my daughter has wide feet but this thong style seems to fit all types of feet. I'm just glad I got these for my daughters, yes, a little pricey for kid shoes but it's worth it. My husband loves them too.

Wonderful Stylish Kids Sandals - My daughter has a narrow foot and we always have a difficult time finding a sandal that fits, matches many outfits, and that she can run in. This sandal succeeded in fulfilling all of the above. A little pricey, but worth it.
