A good buy - This is the third pair of footwear that I have purchased from Zappos; I have been very satisfied with all of them. The fit of the Red Wing motorcycle boots is very good. Zappos service is excellent. I have a narrow foot and until I found Zappos' I had a difficult time finding shoes or boots that fit. I couldn't be happier with both the products and the service that I have received.

Lining is NOT leather - These "boots" have very flimsy soles -- like casual walking shoes. They are easily bent and twisted. They are lined with some sort of fabric, not leather as the description states. They are very large around the ankle and instep -- when laced up snug the two sides touch. They are longer than expected and very wide. The finish where the leather meets the sole is rough. I will be returning them -- I expect much more from a shoe that costs well over $100. Looks like I'll continue to buy New Balance shoes.

Workmanship of quality - The leather boots, from Red Wing, are exceptional. The workmanship of certainty; elevated to a refined art is evident in these boots. An attitude of sturdy independence and solemn purpose were obviously appreciated by the designer/maker during their creative hour.

Red Wing Shoes RWE-Evolved
Booted - Fabulous weight, looks, and comfort. The soles take a little care to keep clean if you care about that sort of thing. Do every other time you wear them with 409 and they stay fabulous. Since Havana Joe is no longer available (anywhere), these are the new shoes I will wear.
