At the inception of BSA was a man and a vocation, that of Georges Bidegain who founded in 1936 in the Southwest of France, in Pau, a company devoted solely to making childrens shoes. A vocation that, as early as 1949 gave birth to the now famous BABYBOTTE. This revolutionary style asserted itself very quickly as the baby shoe. BABYBOTTE even stars on television at the feet of Florence, the main character of the famous Magic Round-about.
The success of the BABYBOTTE brand put Bidegain S.A. in a leadership position in the market of first step shoes. But BSA didnt stop at that. In 1959, the company invested in corrective shoes developing the brand Le Loup Blanc. In 1975 the new brand was TROTTY for the 3 to 10 year olds, replaced in 1999 by TTY.

Great shoe - Very well built shoe. I have a 5 and 8 year old and bought this for both of them. I love the classic euro. Styling yet because of the thicker sole my 8 year old doesn't feel like she is wearing what she calls a "baby shoe".

Sweet shoes -I bought this for my three year old. Although it just about killed me to plunk down $85 for a pair of kids shoes, they are great. High quality and comfortable. The picture really does not do the shoe justice. The one thing I like best about these shoes is that they ultimately match her whole wardrobe. They look great with pink, black, brown, red and just about every other color.

No thanks - I wasn't happy with these shoes. I expected a much better quality for $90. They are heavy soled and not very flexible. The color is funny. The wide edge all around it causes tripping because you step on your own shoes. The velcro straps allow for adjustable width, which is good though. These just didn't work well for us.

This shoe is gorgeous!! Only problem is company decided to lace the leather bows in the top which don't stay tied well and kids, at least mine, tend to play with and pull all the way out which has proven difficult even with a safety pin to thread back in. The bows should be permanent seeing that leather doesn't stay tied in a bow well anyway.

TTY Erika - girly flower shoe - The Look: Very cute girly looking shoe (just as pictured).Sizing: The shoe seems to run a bit longer and wider than Naturino. Comfort: It seems to be comfortable enough. I can't really comment on the comfort as my daughter is only 2, and doesn't really describe how it feels.
